About Microlay

Microlay was born out of the concern of a group of young engineers and professionals from a number of different fields eager to respond to the growing demand for additive manufacturing machines geared towards specific professional sectors. Most of their staff members come from KitPrinter3D, pioneers in the manufacture and sale of FDM printers’ assembly kits in Spain since 2013 and in the sale of the SolidRay, the first low-cost SLA printer assembly kit in Europe.

At Microlay’s comprehensive mechanical workshop located in the outskirts of Madrid, they are able to produce most of the parts themselves, and thus ensure that their machines are thoroughly checked for quality.

At Microlay they are constantly on the alert for new developments and breakthroughs in computing, artificial vision, electronics, IoT, VR and other technologies, and see R&D&I as the only way to compete in a global market and an exciting era, in which technological advances hit the manufacturing industry at breakneck speed, seriously disrupting workflows.
